****** just grabbed a
Fido virgin public mobile and Koodo offering $34 for 40gb
EDIT Nov 25: Koodo now offering 50gb for $34
Virgin offering 30$ for 30gb in chat apparently right now and in stores
Fido just started offering $29 30GB about 2 hours ago. Best deal on the market.
[removed]
Here’s the best BF2023 phone plan for BYOD.
Walmart is doing $30 for 30gb with Virgin Mobile, activation waived, $50 WM gift card, and with referal it’s an additional $5 off per month for 10 months.
Assuming you’ll be shopping for another plan next BF (Canadian problems), the effective monthly price for 12 months is $21.67
Virgin $30 for 30GB
[deleted]
Do these black Friday deals last past today and go til tomorrow?
[EXPIRED] Koodo winback 25$/35gb plus 1250 LD mins
Public – $29 for 10gb
So dumb how they won’t offer to existing customers
Telus – $47 for 200GB and CAN/US/MEX roaming.
Phonebox 30$/40G
Any deals with Rogers
Honest question, how much data do you all actually use monthly, I’m largely connected to wifi, but like to be prepared for extenuating circumstances. For my needs, 40GB, 4g (my phone isn’t 5g anyway) 100-150mbps is more than enough. Especially for $34. I’m seeing some slightly better deals now, but mostly buy back, I’m content switching from virgin to koodo, saved myself 140 a year and my partner 300+.
Best of luck!
anyone know when is the deal valid till? just went to a mall and there’s at least 30people waiting in line at a fido.
Lucky mobile – $20 for 3 GB at 4G speed.
PS: includes call to US
I have also been trying to find a deal, our current ones are too expensive at $120 per month for two plans only.
Fido existing customers $40/50gb
Freedom everyone $29/20gb
Public Mobile – $34 for 40GB @ 5G speeds and throttled speeds after using 40GB.
I think you can apply your previously earned rewards against it (if you were already with them) as well!
Just scored $50 for unlimited US and Canada with Telus
Public mobile $29 10 gig plus points to reduce bill
150gb with rogers $75/month CA+US
Not going to be popular but I got 150gb with Canada/US/Mexico coverage for $75 through Bell. For someone who travels 6 or 7 times a year, this is great.
Got Fido $34 40gb deal. Last Black Friday I chose Koodo $45 40gb, but their network is shit.
When I want to rent a car in YVR, they can’t even scan the QR code. Fk koodo
I know the non-Rogers/Bell/Telus carriers are offering quite strong BYOP deals (I think itÔÇÖs now at $34/mo for 40gb). The Big 3 donÔÇÖt seem to have much there.
Do any carriers have any strong deals for a new phone & new plan? I donÔÇÖt really seem to see anything exciting. I see every carrier charging a monthly fee to borrow iPhones (new & prev. gen), no carrier offering a free iPhone period. I think some carriers have a free Pixel 7 (outright free, no lease) but the cheapest plan to pair that with is $55/mo.
As someone who needs a new phone, IÔÇÖm quite disappointed in this yearÔÇÖs offerings.
Koodo 40$/55gb
Existing customer. $35 for 30G data. No end date.
Are you ineligible if you currently have a tab balance? I’m with Telus.
Anything above 10 gb is pointless for me, but there aren’t many options around with low data. Also, I didn’t care about getting a new phone.
So the only plans that made sense to me were following:
1. $25 for 30gb Koodo retention plan (which today is $30 for 30gb)
2. $29 for $20 gb Fido plan, with $50 gift card at Walmart
I also got a Rogers card, so #2 made more sense.
I had a question, I currently have the 40GB/60$ Fido plan that I got in Jan this year but due to a bunch of credit and me accepting the autodeposit feature for the next 15 months, I have managed to get it down to upto Just 30$/40GB and 1000 Intl minutes. I do not necessarily need 40GB of data as I average around 20-25GB even with forgetting to turn my data off at home.
I was wondering if it is worth it for me to switch over to one of these insane Virigin/Koodo deals as the Fido credits will eventually run out mid-2024 and I may have to pay upto 45$/40GB same time this year. The only issue is that I am having a very busy Weekend due to work and school. I may not have any free time until Monday Evening and I reckon the deals would’ve ended by then. Should I take out like an hour of my time to get this deals or is it gonna return on christmas anyways?
Fido 40gb for $34.00.
55$ 80GB 5G with Koodo
Usually i call fido and complain around black friday for a better phone deal. Currently have 70GB for $65 – looking at the offers in this thread looks like i get nothing this year
Fido and public sites were not working so I went with the 40 for 34 with Koodo
Telus SMB 150G 5G+ CAN-US Roaming Incl
50$
I just joined Telus. $50/month, 70gigs data, $0 pixel 7, $200 best buy gift card.
Kudoo 30gb/30$/1250 long distance minutes/new activation
I called Koodo and was offered $34 for 20GB or $35 for 30Gb. I chose the latter.
Previous plan was $50 for 17GB
Where tf is the fido deal for existing customers??? Only the crappy deals keep showing up on my account I’m so angryyyy
Does public mobile cover TTC stations? My current freedom plan doesnÔÇÖt
For BYOD probably $29 for 20GB with $50 gift card at TMS or Walmart.
For financing probably iPhone 14 + Rogers 50GB + 200K PC points for 62.8/month pre tax
I’m at 150gb for $90 on Rogers
managed to get virgin $29 for 40gb
