After six weeks of intense negotiation, the two parties reached an agreement, with the hospital district’s board of managers voting to invest up to $21.1 million into the program.

New Agreement Secures Program’s Future

The new agreement amends the original five-year offer between Spohn and the hospital district to a six-year deal. For the next 36 months, residents will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of emergency medicine and resuscitate critically ill patients at the bedside.
