Sessions to Launch Franchising Arm with New Funding

The company plans to utilize the new capital to launch a franchising arm, starting with brands like SoBe Burger and Ivan Ramen.

Describing itself as “the record label of food,” Sessions boasts a roster of over 300 kitchens and has fulfilled more than 3.5 million orders across its digital and physical platforms. With previous funding rounds totaling approximately £7.5 million and a debt deal with Virgin Money, Sessions’ founder, Mr. Warne, expressed confidence in the company’s ability to maintain strong and sustainable growth despite facing challenges.

Ashley Abrahams, head of origination at Guinness Ventures, emphasized that Sessions is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for high-quality, authentic food creations from talented chefs nationwide. Through creating additional revenue streams and supporting the wider kitchen partner ecosystem, Sessions aims to capitalize on the evolving food landscape with its innovative approach.
