Terror suspect Daniel Khalife has denied escaping from Wandsworth prison. The 21-year-old former soldier allegedly broke out of the Category B jail on the morning of Wednesday 6 September. The manhunt lasted for 75 hours before Khalife was arrested on Saturday 9 September. Khalife, who served as a member of the Royal Signals based at Beacon Barracks in Stafford, was discharged from the army in May. During his court appearance, Khalife spoke to confirm his awareness of the court proceedings.
