A Charleston-based manufacturer, Mankiewicz Coatings, is embarking on a significant expansion project worth $30 million. The company has partnered with Choate Construction Co. to undertake a 100,000-square-foot expansion, which will effectively double its operations in Charleston. This expansion marks the third major investment by Mankiewicz Coatings in the last 15 years, demonstrating its commitment to growth and development within the region

In addition to the building construction, the project entails site work, such as infilling an existing pond for future expansion, constructing a new truck dock, and providing additional parking for the growing team of employees. These infrastructure enhancements will enable Mankiewicz Coatings to meet the needs of its expanding customer base and support its continued growth in the industry.
