Hampton Inn Madison Honored with Madison Means Business Award

Madison Village Administrator, Dwayne Bailey, presented the Madison Means Business award to Hampton Inn Madison during a ceremony held on the night of September 28. This prestigious accolade recognizes established businesses in the village that have played a significant role in strengthening the community’s economy. The award ceremony took place at Cornerstone Brewing Co., a previous recipient of the Madison Means Business award.

The program aims to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of businesses that act as a driving force for the village’s economic growth. Dwayne Bailey emphasized the importance of recognizing businesses that consistently contribute to the community’s revenue, create jobs, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents.

Hampton Inn Madison, one of the three recipients of the award, has gained recognition for its exceptional service over the past four years. In fact, the hotel has received two major awards for its outstanding hospitality, achievements that only a small percentage of all Hampton hotels in the United States can boast.

Another awardee, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Madison, has been credited as a catalyst for the remarkable commercial growth witnessed at the Interstate 90 and Route 528 interchange in the last four years. Its strategic location and quality offerings have contributed significantly to the area’s flourishing business landscape.

The third recipient, Wild Burrito Mexican Taste & Margarita Bar, demonstrated resilience and determination in opening amid the challenging circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the adverse impact on many businesses, Wild Burrito pushed forward with their vision of providing authentic Mexican cuisine to the Madison community. Their commitment and success have made them a showplace that locals and visitors alike can enjoy.

Dwayne Bailey initiated the Madison Means Business program in 2016, with the first award ceremony held in March of that year. While the program was temporarily paused due to the pandemic and its aftermath, it has now resumed, with awards presented twice a year in March and September.

Madison Township, initially a joint participant in the award presentations, scaled back its involvement to once a year and has yet to resume participation since the pandemic began.

The award recipients were commended for their contributions to the community and encouraged to take pride in their achievements. The village government expressed its utmost admiration and support for the businesses that have played a vital role in Madison’s economic growth.
