    they are not excluding you on discriminatory grounds. This isn’t a bonus that is withheld or similar thing. It is an investment by the company in it’s employees. They want to improve team morale etc. Since you won’t be a company employee there is no business reason to invest in you. Furthermore you are a liability as you have less reason to be friendly/well behaved/a morale boost
