To help report on this initiative, we are proud to share the following summer student spotlight, which reports on internships in areas specific to the studentÔÇÖs chosen career path.)

AKWESASNE ÔÇô Cash Feeley (he/him), age 21, is currently attending Utica University, majoring in accounting. His primary objectives include dedicating himself to his studies and securing a job in his desired field.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Cash has been actively involved in coaching youth basketball during the school year and volunteering at various craft fairs held at one of the Utica senior centers. He has a passion for fishing and enjoys playing football. Cash also has an adventurous side and likes to experiment with different food combinations to expand his culinary preferences.

This summer, Cash has been interning in the Finance department. During his tenure, he has acquired skills in utilizing the MIP fund accounting software, handling procurement tasks such as processing purchase orders, and proficiently managing budgets and credit card checks.
