Boutique Marketing Firm LetterShop Supports Fintech Sector Clients and Local Small Enterprises

LetterShop, a boutique marketing and design firm based in Dobbs Ferry’s Palisades Building, specializes in providing marketing and branding expertise to business clients in the financial technology (“fintech”) sector. Led by Chief Creative Officer Brigid Nelson and supported by a team of graphic designers and contractors, LetterShop offers strategic guidance to clients such as MPM, the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America, and dott, a consultant in the automotive aftermarket industry.

In addition to servicing these clients, LetterShop also distinguishes itself by offering pro bono marketing and branding assistance to local enterprises that lack the financial means to acquire such services. These smaller businesses receive a 30-second “reel,” a video comparable to a TV ad, which can be showcased on their websites or shared on social media platforms. The objective is to generate awareness and drive business growth for these establishments.

Some of the beneficiaries of LetterShop’s pro bono services include Mossy Fern, a gardening center in Hastings-on-Hudson, Muriel Fleurs, a flower shop also located in Hastings, Yoga Love, a yoga studio in Irvington, and Picturebook, a bookstore in the lobby of the popular shared workspace, Hudco, in the Palisades Building. Hudco co-founder Christy Knell, a neighbor of LetterShop, suggested to Brigid Nelson that she host an event to increase the firm’s exposure. Knell recommended contacting the Rivertowns Chamber of Commerce for assistance.

Showing their commitment to supporting local businesses, the Rivertowns Chamber of Commerce helped Nelson organize an event in late September, which included invited guests from the village and county officials. State Assembly member MaryJane Shimsky and Joy Haber, Communications Coordinator for the Board of Legislators, presented Nelson with citations recognizing her contributions. Dobbs Ferry Mayor Vincent Rossillo attended the event to show his support for the local enterprises.

For the occasion, some of LetterShop’s pro bono clients were hired to provide food, drinks, and entertainment. La Hacienda of Yonkers catered Mexican cuisine, Clink with Colleen managed the bar, and 350┬░ Catering supplied the cookies. Muriel Fleurs showcased their flowers, and Picturebook displayed their collection of books.
