City of Crisfield to Offer Grants to Support Small Businesses

CRISFIELD, Md. — The city is getting ready to dish out grants to retain small businesses. In an effort to bolster local shops, up to 50 businesses will have the opportunity to receive $3,000 each to help address their operational needs.

Thanks to the $150,000 funding obtained through the American Rescue Plan, Crisfield will be able to provide financial support to struggling businesses.

Feedback obtained from a few business owners has been overwhelmingly positive, expressing their intention to seize this opportunity. Mark Good, the owner of Sea Mark Marine, highlighted the significance of this financial boost, stating that it would greatly assist him in improving his equipment.

Application forms will be made available for pickup from Monday, November 6th onwards.
