I have completed numerous Compensation and Pension (C&P) exams and appointments, but frustratingly, there has been no significant progress in my case. Just have to remind yourself that the longer this takes, the higher the backpay..
Mine was put in November 2022 and I just got a rating a little over a week ago. It takes a while.
A lot of people in the comments telling OP to stop complaining just because their claim took 9 years. ItÔÇÖs not on OP, itÔÇÖs on the VA. Yes it sucks that your claim took that long, it also sucks for OP. DonÔÇÖt be upset at OP, be upset at the VA for making the claim process so arduous that 9 months is considered ÔÇ£lucky.ÔÇØ
Is this a HLR? My claim date is one day older than yours. Nothing but C&P.
If you have access to a vso, contact them and have them tell you whether your C and P exams provided a positive Nexus for your contention. It is not a guarantee, but it will help put your mind at ease.
Try being screwed like myself and others on exams and waiting over 4 or more years for hearings etc.
your wait can be tolerable for a bit just breathe
Weird mine was put it in November 15th and IÔÇÖm already at evidence gathering. I guess mine is fast tracked because of MEB?
Ive been waiting since nov 22 2022. Lol
Did you check benefits to see what stage itÔÇÖs in on EGRD? Maybe you just moved to the last step!?
Join the Army they said
Yours is flying compared to others. Be patient. Fingers crossed!

Lmfao, I’ve had something in appeal for 2 years. Get in line buddy

Hehe, this guy talking about being patient ƒÿà
Is this BDD or a regular claim?
How many claims you put inƒºÉ
I waited 18 months but got a better than expected rating and a pretty fat backpay check. Hurry up and wait is the VA claim motto.
YouÔÇÖll get it for Xmas
Took me 18 months and wife almost 24. I would go for an exam then get notification of another.
Interesting. Just submitted my first claim and it went from Claim Received to Initial Review on the same day.
It takes time. Took me seven months.
Started my claims in Jan 2023 and got paid around August. Almost 8 months actually but I kept on the VA. I kept calling and asking what the status was to keep bugging them. DonÔÇÖt give up and keep the faith.
QTC was my appointments handler and im sorry but they have very bad employees. Unresponsive, irresponsible and whenever I got in contact with them they never follow through on anything they would say! No call back no emails no care whatsoever. Kings of transferring calls to nowhere. Anyways excuse my rant, what IÔÇÖm trying to say is make sure you call every once in a while. I think I hit 12 months waiting. Back pay was good tho.
To start my claim took me over five years after I got out. VA kept losing my paperwork. Lost time from 2005-2010
After that, it took the VA 13 months (2011) to give me 10% for a tinnitus claim and denied me for the rest in 2012 despite me giving them change of address written, phone call, website, and vso.
Another three to get denied again. RFR. HLR. Denials. Filed an appeal as well. 2013
Two additional years for CUE back pay to 2013 from 2015 for 50%
2016 60%
2017 70%
2018 80% & 90%
2020 VLJ hearing for my appeal
2021 100%
2023 appeal granted to 2013. Also received backdated T&P to 2021 with appeal.

Same
Have you contacted Vera?
Did you do Bdd?
YouÔÇÖre still under a year. Took me 2 and a half to get my first rating.
My first round was a year and a half almost two to get rated.
Your only 9 months in. It took 3 years to finish my claims. I looked at ebenefits every day. Drove myself crazy. Try to be p. Good luck
Same timeline, mine was done in February.
This isn’t to bad honestly. Idk how many conditions you have on this one claim but I got one from Sept 2022. And then a decision was made and then nothing else happened never got the decision nothing. Had to file a seperate claim to get the decision sent out. It’s the VA it sucks but looks like your moving forward now.

I feel the pain
Going on 16 months with my supplemental claim of 1 condition with nexus included
Took me 8 years to get mine
593 days on my last denial
I submitted mine last December 2nd. Got paid about 3 weeks ago. So 10.5 months.
Compared to what most veterans before prior to this claim process has gone thru – this is still much fasterÔǪ be patient.
If you’re not good at saving money.. the backpay is pretty great. There is no chance i would have saved the amount of back pay i received
My BDD took a year.
I have about the same timeline, mine finished not too long ago. You are almost there.
Back in 2010 some of us waited a year and a half. Relax.
I opened my claim back in March 2023. Claim was going great and I see it went from evidence gathering to closed complete back in September. I called and they closed my claim on accident. I was told I have to reopen a new claim. So back to waiting. But it goes to show that there’s a lot of incompetence.
Crazy it takes so long what is this claim for if you dont mind me asking? Or is it just a bunch of stuff
I have one I submitted in January. I have the 2nd C&P in December
How long does it take you to read a 600 page book?
It should be soon I just got mine last month and I filed same month you did.
So weird how times are so different from person to person. I saw someone submit a claim and get a decision within 2 weeks. I submitted mine a few weeks ago and am in evidence gathering, have a C&P already scheduled for Dec 5th.
I submitted mine one Feb and was done in July. I just havenÔÇÖt been paid out yet
