Submitted a supplemental for sleep apnea from various issues with help from a VSO along with a private dr nexus letter. Emailed a few days later to expect a call to schedule the exam, after a week and no call I contacted the contracted company. Was informed that the request was submitted incorrectly from the VA and they had not sent it back yet. Contacted the VA after that and was told it would be seen in maybe a month. Finally get contacted to get a exam in early June and nothing since then.

Had “unspecified mood disorder” 0% but service connected. Initial claim doc was worthless. This doc really talked to me and diagnosed with Bi Polar II. He wants me on hards meds and getting treatment. Said he’d push to have it go through fast since I drive 18 wheelers and…. well this isn’t a good mix. So far just stuck in “a reviewer….* hell. It’s one issue with a senior doc having diagnosed me, recommending a bump. I can’t wait till I have a rating, I need that income. Once it’s officially set VA says Im bipolar and I start treatment…. will make a lot of jobs hard to get. Sorry ranting. Just really getting depressed.

    Type: increase

Submitted: July 23rd and September 5 (combined on September 8)

Initial review: August 6 (unknown on recent additions)

    Evidence gathering: September 8

Claims: functional gastrointestinal disorder (new), allergic rhinitis (increase), TBI (new), Migraine (secondary), tinnitus (increase).

Not sure why tinnitus is on there as an increase. Maybe I did migraines secondary to it? Although it could be to medications or tbi. Hard to keep up with what I did after I submit the claims.

TBI I’m not expecting much but the TBI doc said I had multiple mTBIs from IEDs and rpgs, so I’m trying just get it in the system (0% SC is fine with me, I’m already 70% ptsd).

ENT doc diagnosed me with 95% to 100% blockage of my nose from hypertrophied turbinates which are caused by AR, I’d like to argue that’s a functional equivalent of polyps but we’ll see how that goes.

And FGD is because they denied me for IBS despite me having symptoms of IBS. I’m claiming FGD secondary to my PTSD medications.
