    After school care places are private companies.  They just hire a room in the school.  The only “support” schools give to them is *maybe* advertising it if it suits them. I’d be expecting to pay for this too though.

    And bare in mind, not all schools own their buildings. Privately owned ones aren’t actually technically open as schools after usually around  5pm – in which case you will be hiring from the owners of the building, and nothing to do with the school.
